University of Florida Strategic Development Plan
Client: University of Florida
“The project team became fully immersed in the campus and community, understanding not only strengths, challenges, and opportunities, but also inner workings and relationships. The team — with expertise in urban design, real estate, transportation, campus planning, and strategic thinking — interviewed over 200 stakeholders and conducted a public symposium in which practitioners from peer institutions engaged in community conversations about experience and lessons learned.”
- 2,000-acre Strategic Development Plan created for the University of Florida and the City of Gainesville.
- Collaboration between the University, the City of Gainesville, and Alachua County was open and transparent.
- The Strategic Development Plan identifies opportunities for partnerships in innovation, entrepreneurship, governance, education, sustainability, urban design, culture, recreation, and transportation.
