Howard F. Elkus Posthumously Honored at Annual NAIOP Gala

Howard F. Elkus was posthumously honored with the Edward H. Linde Public Service Award at the NAIOP Distinguished Real Estate Awards Gala, for his civic and charitable contributions, along with a life-long commitment to the highest values of service to the greater community. John Fish, CEO of Suffolk Construction, presented the award to David Manfredi. John Fish concluded his speech with a beautiful statement about Howard’s legacy: “Howard Elkus’ designs will forever remind us of a time and place that changed our city forever, but his spirit and contributions to our world and to humanity are timeless and will live for an eternity.” Howard’s family, Lorna, James, and Jenny, joined David on stage to accept the award.
