Revit/CAD/IT Support

Elkus Manfredi Architects is a full-service design firm providing architecture, master planning, urban design, interior architecture, space planning, and programming. The BIM/CAD/IT Support Group at Elkus Manfredi Architects is looking to add a multi-talented IT Professional to provide primarily day–to-day support to the entire office staff for all Revit and AutoCAD issues and to provide support and backup to the BIM/CAD Manager. This role will expand the depth, breadth, and availability of on-site technical support. The BIM/CAD/IT support will be working in a fast-paced environment where the level of support must exceed the expectations of the client.

This position reports to the BIM/CAD Manager.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • The IT group is required to provide prompt and professional technical support to the firm of 250 user clients.
  • Responsible for the deployment, service, and support of desktops, laptops, and applications.
  • Provide direct project specific support frequently as a member of the design team.
  • Participate in the development of systems, libraries, and resources.


Additional Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ad hoc support for any of the firm’s clients, consultants, and on-site guests.


Required Education, Training and Experience


      • Autodesk’s Revit and AutoCAD
      • BIM360 / ACC experience
      • Rhino3D
      • SketchUp
      • Enscape
      • Adobe Suite
      • MS Office 2016

Desktop and Device Support:

    • Windows 10 64 bit desktops, laptops, MS Surface Pro, and iPad’s
    • BYOD support

Infrastructure Support:

    • Printers and plotters
    • Zoom / VPN / remote working support


Additional Education, Training and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Architectural background.
  • 3–5 years providing technical support for Revit, AutoCAD, and ADOBE Suite applications.
  • Strong experience organizing and setting up Revit project files, templates, families, and creating parametric components.


Required Competencies

  • The ability to work independently as well as with the rest of the IT team.
