John Martin - AIA, LEED AP

A hands-on leader and insightful design professional, John Martin brings exceptional depth to his work.  His skills as an architect, urban planner, and manager are further informed by a strong background in engineering, giving him added expertise in the technical requirements for buildings, open space, and infrastructure.  Through his work with institutional, corporate, and development clients, John has acquired a broad understanding of real estate issues, and has overseen some of the country’s most complex mixed-use projects, most of which have involved multiple decision-makers.  His experience ranges from large-scale master plans for entire campuses and retail/residential mixed-use developments, to high-rise, high-hazard life science buildings and the revitalization of urban communities.

John received Bachelor degrees in both Environmental Design in Architecture and Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University, and a Master of Architecture degree from Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
