David P Manfredi AIA Principal As a founding partner of Elkus
Manfredi Architects, David Manfredi has been privileged to work with a variety of industry leaders from across the country on all types of planning and building projects. He has led the design teams for two new buildings for Millennium Pharmaceuticals at University Park at MIT in Cambridge; The Grove, a new retail district that recently opened in Los Angeles; Wellesley Gateway and 1600 Crown Colony, two new buildings for Harvard Pilgrim Health Care; and University Square, which includes The Inn at Penn for the University of Pennsylvania; Downtown Disney in Anaheim, California; the conversion of a Landmark status Art Deco office building into the Wyndham Boston Hotel; and Brockton Trial Court in Brockton, Massachusetts.
Reflecting the firm’s commitment to diversity of project types, current projects include planning and design of Belmar — a new town center development in Lakewood, Colorado that will be one of the largest projects in the country to be evaluated for LEED™ design criteria; a residential development beginning construction in Boston’s Fenway neighborhood; and South Campus Gateway development on the campus of The Ohio State University in Columbus.
A graduate of the University of Chicago and the University of Notre Dame, Mr. Manfredi has practiced architecture since 1979. Prior to co-founding Elkus
Manfredi, he was a vice president at The Architects Collaborative in Cambridge during his ten-year tenure.
